Irena
I have finally found a buck to breed to my little baby Irena. Even though he lives 5hrs away, she is going to stay at the lady's house to be bred. I am so happy! I have been having trouble trying to find a buck. All I need to do is set a date! Irena and Willie will be missed greatly while they are gone.

Goodbye!
Yesterday I helped my grandpa sort the calves and load them in the trailer. Whitey our one cow is missing her baby. She has been crying for 24hrs. She is a little hoarse today. I feel sorry for her but we needed to get rid of them. My grandma and I try telling her that she won't see them again, she looks at us and them goes back to bellowing. Hopefully she will get over it soon.

Not so fun week.
On Tuesday my mom and I where suppose to teach a kindergarden class for our homeschool co-op. But sadly I wasn't able to do it because I was sick. So I laid in bed all day with heat packs on my belly and back. I only got up to heat up the packs or to use the bathroom. The only thing I ate was jello for supper. Mmmmmm Jello, and a tiny slice of pizza. Luckly I was able to keep it down! Wednesday I was able to go and do chores. I had jello for breakfast and for lunch jello and tomatoe soup, I had 2 peices of toast and a wonton for supper. Today I was able to eat oatmeal for breakfast. Now what to eat for lunch?!

Bluegills
The other day my grandpa called me to ask if he could put some baby bluegills he found, in the fish tank at his house. I said "No!", why? Because every time he puts a fish in there from the creek, all the other fish in the tank die. So I now have them at my house in my 20gal tank. I've been feeding them sinking goldfish food, since they are with my goldfish, frozen baby brine shrimp and freeze dried blood worms. They are all getting along and swim around happily.

Rain, rain go away!
It is raining out today, yuck. Sitting inside on my warm bed with my cat in my lap purring while typing this. What couldn't be better? Thinking about having one of my mom's homemade chicken or Tomato soups for lunch. Mmmmmm. I don't want to go anywhere today, but we have co-op *sigh*. Well I guess I better go take a shower. Bye

Pets for Hobby Farmers
Irena
Willie
Irena who's name means peace, Loves to be with me 24/7. Willie (my wether) is named after my horse Willie, is a penmate for Irena. I am planning on breeding Irena this winter for April/May babies. Nigerian Dwarfs are smaller than cats when they are born and will grow to be about knee high full grown. Nigerian Dwarfs and Pygmy goats came to America by boat from Western Africa for zoos to unfortunately feed to the lions and tigers. The survivors then became an exhibit at the zoos. Today Nigerians make great pets for hobby farmers.
Today's Bible Scripture
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
